Canton's Ward 1 is located in the Northeast section of the city. Its borders are North Gate Dr. and Finney Rd to the north, running on Hwy 16 E to the intersection of Avondale Rd and Hart Rd to the east, E. Peace St to the south, and N. Liberty along the west.

 

Canton's Ward 1 is located near two city parks, Canton High school, Porter Middle and Goodloe Elementary.  There is a Fire Department sub-station located with in the ward. Ward 1 residents have access to several local businesses including Wendy's, Penn's Restaurant and Quality Cleaners. It also includes Canton Municipal Utilities and the Canton Industrial Park, making it the industrial center of the city.

Canton's Ward 1 has so much to offer the City of Canton. If we come together to build a more proactive city government and a stronger community, we will preserve and progress the quality of life in our neighborhood as well as for all Canton residents.
